Hi THERE,
my name is Alayna Louise Waddell

When I first started photography, I was shooting events and moments in my daily life. This set me up as first and foremost an observer- looking for that first embrace between friends after too long, waiting for the laugh to break through during a conversation, catching the framing of a moment through a doorway, or noticing how the light moves between the trees and lands on people's skin.

And this is how I still approach my work- capturing you, your day, and your people in their most authentic and natural form.

Originally from South Louisiana, currently based in Western North Carolina, but always down to travel anywhere.

I'm a 9w1 (or w8? I can never decide),

Some little things about me..

I've been shooting for around 10 years! But I shifted to focusing on weddings specifically around 5 years ago

I'm a newleywed myself!
My husband's name is Taylor and he often second shoots for me

We got married in the backyard of my childhood home and I made my own wedding dress with my grandmother :)

I have a big family that I love dearly

We spent the latter half of 2025 living in an RV and traveling before settling down in the mountains of North Carolina in January of this year (where we've always hoped to end up:))
